Symbol Stones, 1995Campbell Middle School—Campbell, CA
Description: A series of cast concrete pavers encircling a plaza. The bas-relief designs are inspired by universal symbols found in cultures around the world. Seventh and Eighth grade students carved the forms out of dense foam and cast them in concrete.
